Mirror is built on three main data objects — decision records, reasoning, and outcomes. Mirror will never share your reasoning or outcomes with your employer, team, or Mirror staff. Future product tiers may offer enterprise features, including the ability to integrate your decision records with enterprise tools. If Mirror ever introduces a model where decision records are accessible beyond the individual user, we will notify users in advance and provide the ability to export and delete your data before any change takes effect.

Your data is encrypted in your browser before it is saved to your cloud vault. Mirror does not store your vault key.

When Mirror shares a reflection with you, your browser decrypts the relevant decisions and reasoning and sends them to OpenAI through a Mirror proxy to generate the reflection. Mirror does not store it. OpenAI does not use API data to train its models by default. Mirror has not opted in.
